Friday 9th May, 7pm. £12/£8

Thomas Trotter is one of Britain’s most widely admired musicians. A former organ scholar of King’s College Cambridge, he was appointed City Organist of the City of Birmingham in 1983 and is also organist at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, and Visiting Fellow in Organ Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. He is one of the highly sought-after organists of our time and we are delighted to welcome him to launch the St John’s Organ Recital Series this May.

The recital will be preceded by the premiere screening of a short film created that tracks the process of the restoration of the organ.

Each ticket to the recital will also include a glass of wine and canapés.
